How booking with Doable works

Online quotes are based on what you tell us about the job. They're good for 30 days. Hourly work (billed at $100 per hour) is shown as a range and you pay for the actual time on site. Every visit has a minimum charge starting at $104; some services have a higher minimum, which your quote shows.

If the job turns out to be different from what was described, we'll tell you the new price before we start. Nothing extra is done without your OK.

Electrical, plumbing, gas, HVAC, roofing, and structural work need a state-licensed contractor, so Doable doesn't do them or take payment for them. If your job needs one, we'll refer you to a licensed pro and you hire them directly.

Paying cash on the day costs 3% less than paying by card. Both prices are shown before you book.

Visits booked within 48 hours of the start time include a $51 short-notice fee, shown before you book.

Card bookings take a $50 deposit to reserve your time. It's credited in full to your bill. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.

Cancel more than 24 hours before your visit and the deposit is refunded in full to your card (it usually appears in 5–10 business days). Within 24 hours of the visit the deposit isn't refundable, so please call us first. We may be able to reschedule.

Use the cancel link in your confirmation email, or call 612-807-2170. If we ever need to cancel or move your visit, we'll contact you as early as we can, and any deposit is refunded in full if the new time doesn't work for you.

Please make sure we can get to the work area, and let us know about pets, parking, or gate codes in your booking notes. Materials are charged at cost with receipts, or you can supply your own.
